Subcontracting for
History Credit
for the school administrator
When a student transfers in from another district or homeschool, the administrator is faced with deciding what, if any, credit will be granted. Looking at transcripts from an institution may suggest a certain scope of study has been taken. With hyperhistory.net, even the grade book is available to the administrator.
Just as hyperhistory.net teaches its world history class through the accredited NorthStar Academy, you too can examine the syllabus, scope and sequence of the assignment bank, and the pedagogy of hyperhistory.net delivery.
Instructor charge is only $25 a month per individual tutoring. A semester or year long course of study is available. After goal setting with the student, parent, and administrator, the instructor will help direct student research and edit their essays to prepare for the AP World History exam, if the student so chooses. Upon completion of the course, a recommendation is made to the school's administration of a transcript grade based upon the student's performance.
Since the first year this option was made available (2002-2003), every student who has taken this course has also passed the AP world history exam.
