Subcontracting for
History Credit
for the school administrator
When a student transfers in from another district or homeschool, the administrator is faced with deciding what, if any, credit will be granted. Looking at transcripts from an institution may suggest a certain scope of study has been taken. With this online class even the grade book is available to the administrator. The syllabus, scope and sequence of the assignment bank, and the pedagogy may be examined.
A student does not need to take a course to prepare for the AP exams as they may prepare on thier own. If they would like help, the instructor charge is only $25 a month per individual tutoring. A semester or year long course of study is available. After goal setting with the student, parent, and administrator, the instructor will help direct student research and edit their essays to prepare for the AP World History exam, if the student so chooses.
Since the first year this option was made available (2002-2003), no students who enrolled earned less than a "3" on the APWH exam.
