World History with Northstar Academy

If you choose to register for this course through Northstar Academy then you can expect to use their FirstClass interface for communication with the instructor. Assignments and instructor feedback will be exchanged within the FirstClass environment. As an exception to other Northstar courses, all assignments for this AP World History class are on the Internet. Carefully read the syllabus. Although Northstar students may advance at their own pace, students falling behind will have their parents politely contacted in order to encourage completion of this course in a timely manner.

NSA is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (NASCU).

You may register for the 05-06 school year via a secure online registration page at https://www.northstar-academy.org/pages/registration.aspx

Apart from the Academy, NorthStar also offers Homeschool and Independent Study (HIS). For $100 a student can view all the lesson content of any year long course. This fee also allows students to access the chat and email options with NSA but does not allow the student to contact the teacher of the course. If a student has paid for a course from the Academy then may pay $40 for the possibility to earn credit by examination without the coursework.

The NSA World History teacher also leads the NSA Mission Trip.

Hello,
Just wanted to write a quick note and say how much I've enjoyed your class this year. It stretched me many times to think of things in a different light than I had seen them. Lots of times I would sit down to lunch and have a good discussion with my parents about something in the reading. But most of all it was really cool to see how things fit into a Biblical history view point. So thanks.
